What a Hut – designers of your sweat experience
 
The Zlín-based company What a Hut is passionate about creating the perfect sauna experience. Their saunas combine local design, materials, and craftsmanship. All models are designed by Czech multidisciplinary designer Adéla Bačová, who is also the art director of the brand. The solid spruce panels are made from wood grown in Czechia – sourced from the Beskydy Mountains, the Prostějov region, and the Labe area. Using state-of-the-art CNC processing technology, the panels embody clean design and a series of meticulous details that define the essence of the products. 
 
The saunas are conceived as spaces for an essential experience – with visual noise minimized so visitors can fully focus on their body, thoughts, or conversation.
 
The three core products offer various configuration options. The medium-sized sauna features not only large glazing but also an intimate perforated wall, creating a distinctive play of light – filtering from the exterior into the sauna room, and from the sauna stove outward. The largest sauna includes both a sauna room and a relaxation area, offering a truly comprehensive sauna experience.
 
Earthy tones wrap the exterior in snow (natural), pine (green), coal (black), and ember (red) shades. In the smallest model, these colors can be freely combined within the interior and exterior, creating playful accents and bold compositions. The sauna benches are made from high-quality spruce offcuts from panel production, ensuring full use of materials. Clients can also choose from a range of other wood types, tailoring the sauna to their individual preferences.
 
For the ultimate sauna experience, the company has designed a new line of textile accessories – sauna hats, bathrobes, and multifunctional sheets. The earthy tones of these accessories reflect both the color palette used in the brand’s Finnish saunas and its new visual identity.
