Flexi Lounge: A New Standard of Comfort Awarded the Red Dot Design Award

Czech manufacturer LD Seating presents the latest addition to its successful product line – the Flexi Lounge armchair, created in collaboration with the renowned Italian studio Orlandini Design. Elegant, comfortable, and exceptionally well thought-out, the chair has already received the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025.

Flexi Lounge redefines the standards of modern seating. Spacious and soft, it appears visually lightweight thanks to its slender steel frame with no visible screws. While its shape builds on previous models from the Flexi series, it introduces a new level of comfort – an ergonomic shell, softer padding, and a flexible upper backrest that naturally responds to the body’s movements.

The design also emphasises versatility – eight frame colour options, a wide range of upholstery fabrics, and a stylish contrasting piping detail allow it to seamlessly fit into office interiors, hotel lobbies, cafés, or public spaces. The chair is produced entirely in the Czech Republic, with a focus on durability and the possibility of reupholstery.
