The Modernista brand has long been working with the legacy of Czech interwar modernism, translating it into a contemporary context through licensed production that respects the original designs, materials, and technological processes. Its portfolio is dominated by furniture designs by Jindřich Halabala, porcelain by Pavel Janák, tubular furniture continuing the tradition of the Vichr brand, and lighting by Franta Anýž.

For architectural practice, a key aspect is the ability of these products to integrate naturally into contemporary interiors – they are not historicising elements, but timeless components with clear functional and aesthetic quality. They are applied in both residential and public projects, performing well in open layouts as well as representative spaces.

At the same time, Modernista is developing collaborations with contemporary designers and entering projects already in the early design stages. The products are therefore not perceived in isolation, but as part of a comprehensive solution that allows for a sensitive combination of historical principles with contemporary architecture, resulting in long-term sustainable interiors.
