Lukáš Jabůrek Studio
Lukáš Jabůrek is a foremost Czech glass artist and designer who bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and a uniquely personal vision. From 2007 to 2018, he worked first as a technologist and artist, and later as the artistic director at the prestigious Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary.
Since 2018, he has embarked on an independent artistic journey, returning to his roots in the Ore Mountains to revive the region’s long-lost glassmaking traditions. His work is distinguished by a bold, individual style that explores color, optical refraction, and the depth and translucence of glass. Each creation tells a story, evokes emotion, and carries subtle symbolism, reflecting his belief that glass is an honest material—“it never lies”—capable of expressing what words cannot.
Jabůrek’s artistry has been recognized with numerous national and international awards, including the Czech Grand Design Public Choice Award in 2012. In his studio and workshop, he designs both handcrafted and machine-made pieces, creating bespoke awards, trophies, and gifts. Collaborating with architects and interior designers, he develops unique collections while also producing his own original decorative and drinkware glass. By personally hand-cutting limited editions of his works, he ensures that every piece emerges as a true masterpiece.
